costume sketch

So I started re-reading the lord of the rings, for the 8th time, and its inspiring me to continue work on my Frodo Baggins costume. I've been tinkering with it ever since the movies came out (and YES that DOES make me feel old), but this week I'm tackling the perfect vest. I have the material already and I'm sewing it. This is my costume sketch of how it should look when I'm done.

So I'm re-playing Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, from Gameboy Color... and in the wee hours of some morning, it suddenly struck me as hilarious to name my character "lover". Why? 

Because then everyone sounds like they're totally hitting on me.

recently had to go to the doctor for some testing to see if I had an ulcer. lots of gross scary tests, the worst of which was an endoscopy. if you don't know what that is, ask your mommy. at any rate, I was having a ton of panic attacks and very unhappy. but thankfully they sedated me so it was okay. 

in the end, I don't have an ulcer. but I do have some bad acid reflux disease, and a stomach hernia :/ 

so no more drinking, smoking, or eating pizza for me. 

phooey.

I've been doodling him all over the place for a while.
I think its time to start writing real grown up comics and make him a real character.
and by "grown up" comics, I mean more than one panel.
